Vibo, Paulau Mobile Team up for Roaming Services; Vibo Aims to Expand Number of Subscribers in 2011

Taiwanese 3G mobile communications service provider Vibo announced that the company has signed an MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) with Palau Mobile on January 20, 2011 to provide international roaming services in Palau for seven years, according to the Economic Daily News of Taiwan. As per the MOU, Vibo will construct 3.75G base stations for Palau Mobile, the only telecom operator in Paulau that provides roaming services in the country. The 3.75G mobile network service is scheduled to be launched in the second quarter of 2011.

Meanwhile, Vibo also announced on the same day that the company aims to boost its subscriber base from the current 1.85 million to 2.5 million this year, according to the Economic Daily News again.
